Paul Martins is a regular/go-to for the lady and I. First of all, the staff is very attentive and accommodating. Furthermore, we have made reservations on opentable.com.
Once there, the wife requests we enjoy the evening at the front patio. Nice atmosphere for sure and the happy hour on the patio features a separate menu filled with foodie creations in bite size and appetizers.

I’m by no means a vegetarian or a vegan – but my daily list of cravings include the Paul Martin’s Mushroom Burger. Many restaurants have meatless burger alternatives and some are really good. This one though, is exceptional.
The funny thing is, I stumbled upon the mushroom burger by accident one afternoon because my wife ordered it and decided she wanted to try something else. I figured it wouldn’t be appropriate to discard a perfectly fresh sandwich, so, I was going to eat this as an appetizer – to get my taste buds going. I was glad I did. The Mushroom Burger has a good firmness of the patty and a real gourmet flavor. The mushrooms are not completely ground up – rather they are chopped into pieces. You might think a patty made of mushrooms would fall apart or lack in the taste department, but Paul Martin’s sandwich is exceptional. The Mushroom Burger is served with fries and is filling. You can find it on the lunch menu and can order it on the patio during their happy hour, which is one of the best happy hours in Roseville. Whether you love mushrooms or are just looking for a great burger alternative – consider trying the mushroom burger the next time you are at Paul Martins.
